It is not too late to join Diga Brazil for our November trip. In a few months, we will be giving thanks for all things Brazilian and helping Bahians to celebrate the Festival of Santa Barbara. Celebrating the patron saint of wind and thunder, the festivities will last three days (December 4-6) beginning with a mass and followed by a procession through the streets of Pelourinho, the historic heart of Salvador. But as is standard practice with most religious practices in Bahia, it will end with a lot of Cachaca (alcohol made from sugar cane) music and Samba.
Experience the rich history of Bahia with Diga Brazil
